• FREE Online Safety Course for Parents!

  We are excited to announce that there will be a FREE Online Safety workshop for parents, presented by Katherine Howard from Smoothwall, on Wednesday 29th November from 7.30-8.30pm.

   

  Warwickshire ICT Services have invited Kat to talk to your parents about how they can keep their children safe online. Kat has been working in, and with, schools for over 18 years to develop their understanding of Online Safety and support school leadership teams to implement and embed policies, procedures, training and committees. She is passionate about the importance of online safety in schools and the wider community and provides advice and support on a day-to-day basis. 

   

  During this workshop, Kat will give parents lots of practical hints, tips and activities to support your young people in this environment. She will also discuss how parents can keep their knowledge about this ever changing landscape current.

• Poppy Appeal 2023

  We have a limited amount of Royal British Legion Poppy items for sale. We have given each class a small amount and they will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Please ensure your child brings in the correct change. 

  All items that we sell are available from local Poppy sellers as well, so please don't be disheartened if we run out. All items are widely available from Poppy stalls across Nuneaton. 

  We have attached a price list for items available.

  The Corner House are hosting a fantastic Halloween Quiz Night! Spooky fun for all the family! They have very kindly said that they will donate all proceeds to Chetwynd Junior School.

• World Mental Health Day!

  Every year we celebrate World Mental Health Day on 10th October. The theme for 2023, set by the World Foundation of Mental Health, is ‘Mental health is a universal human right’.

  World Mental Health Day is about raising awareness of mental health and driving positive change for everyone’s mental health.

  It’s also a chance to talk about mental health, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to get help if you are struggling.

  In recognition of World Mental Health Day we are inviting children to wear green and/or purple in support. No donation is needed.
