Charity

Each year our children choose an number of charities to raise money for. Some of these are well known charity days such as Children in Need and Red Nose Day, as well as smaller events such as cake sales for Cancer Research. Over the year children raise hundreds of pounds for vital causes.

Have a look below to see some examples of our children's amazing charity work.

Remembrance Day 2022

Every year we gather together as a school to remember those lost in wars. This year, every class came together to take part in the Royal British Legions live assembly along with 300,000 other children.

We also raised money for the Poppy Appeal by selling poppies, snap bands and other poppy items in school.

Cake Sale

A big well done to Elsie, Molly, Jennifer, Jazmine, Josie, Megan and Scarlette for raising an impressive £253.03 from their cake sale! They were raising money for Cancer Research. They chose this charity as they all felt it was important to raise awareness and had known family members or friends who had had cancer.
Cakes were both homemade and shop bought. Some of the girls even learnt to bake in order to make some tasty treats to sell.
But they didn’t stop there. They also organised a raffle. Congratulations to Josh, Owen and Jude for winning the prizes.
Our team of fundraisers all felt that it was an excellent experience for them. They were pleased to raise awareness of the charity and raise vital funds.
Well done!
