Wellbeing Email:- wellbeing2581@welearn365.com

At Chetwynd Junior School we work towards positive Emotional Health and Wellbeing in the whole of our school community for adults as well as children. We have an identified “front line role in protecting children’s Mental Health and Wellbeing.”

Chetwynd has developed a Wellbeing team that works with pupils, parents and staff to ensure pupils mental health and Wellbeing is identified and promoted throughout school. The team helps to raise awareness of social, emotional and the mental health needs of the pupils or families within the school. This is achieved through weekly meetings that are focused on continually reviewing the work taking place with groups or individuals.

We offer support in a variety of different areas such as, anxiety, anger management, confidence and self esteem, friendship groups, parental support and more.
