Well done to all the children for their wonderful name suggestions, we loved reading them all! We have been settling into school life and visiting classrooms gradually to get used to seeing so many friendly faces! Click below to see more pictures of us!

Adopted Animals

Usually, Chetwynd staff participate in Secret Santa. As that wasn't practical, staff decided to donate all the money they would usually spend on gifts, adopting animals for the school from Twycross Zoo instead!

Children submitted names into a hat for the animals, which were chosen at random.

A giraffe called Gemma for the whole school

A meerkat called Myla for Year 3

An orangutan called Oranges for Year 4

A tiger called Derek for Year 5

A gorilla called James for Year 6
