Police Afternoon
Year 3 children really enjoyed their police afternoon. Local police officers came into school to lead a session on emergency services. Officers spoke to children about how to make an emergency call to 999 or 112, what information they would have to give to officers and how they need to keep themselves safe. Officers spoke to the children about the importance of not making hoax call and how this could affect someone in real need of police help.
Children really enjoyed handling police gear and learning about police cars.
